Not to bore you to death, but…here’s another testimonial about my books!
Although there were some things I wasn’t aware of, for the most part these principles have been familiar to me for a long time but were put together in a very easy to read style. You were also to able to point out the very important nugget that making small changes can really make a difference.
Although I love fruits and salads, I have irritable bowel syndrome and these foods can be very difficult for me to tolerate. I tried a couple of the recipes and decided to start making salads for everyone else even if I couldn’t eat it myself. I started eating small amounts of the beautiful salads I was making and now am able to eat salad several times a week.
For the sake of others in my home I started making a fruit bowl as well and started with small amounts. I am now able to eat fruit almost every day. It’s ready in the fridge in a clear bowl so you can’t miss it!
I also joined a local food coop that has organic foods and was pleased to find some great yogurt cheaper than in the grocery store and with a plastic seal instead of foil. I have recently done some reading that suggests a connection between aluminum and dementia so I have been trying to look for products that don’t have aluminum and found that most yogurt does. So, I was doubly pleased to find this yogurt.
My husband and I used to have a bowl of ice cream most evenings. Well, now I bring him a bowl of fruit or some yogurt or popcorn that I’ve made with olive oil and a small amount of butter. I went to the doctor today and found that since I saw her 2 months ago I have lost 10 pounds. As you pointed out in your books, it CAN be painless to lose weight. Thanks Super Mom for the inspiration to make small changes!

Back in stock, plus new stuff!
Just wanted to let you all know that the new shipment of Berry Well and Bee Strong arrived in today. All back orders have been filled and are going out tomorrow morning. I am waiting for another shipment that will include more of the same, plus more Bone Ami–we still have some folks waiting for that. Good stuff! I will try to do better at keeping it on hand.
I am also really excited that we were able to add Yoder’s Homestyle Jams to the store. These sugar-free jams are sweetened only with natural fruit and fruit juice concentrate! Yay! This is a great way to improve the health of those PBJs your kids like so much!Â
Right now we have Seedless Blackberry, Seedless Black Raspberry, and (my favorite!) Strawberry Rhubarb. You get a whole pint jar of this jam for only $4.99!
My Kids Love Their New Vitamins!

A big part of the way that I decide what to offer at Supermom’s Health and Wellness is to find products that my family and I really love, and then pass the information on to you. When I have a need for a particular product I start searching until I find something that has the safe ingredients, quality, performance, and price that I’m looking for. I figure if I’m thrilled with my discovery, probably other people will be too.Â
Well, I am SO excited about our new liquid Super Kids vitamins. We started using this product several weeks ago, and my children are so happy about taking these that they remind me all the time to make sure they got their vitamins. (They also take Bone Ami, a liquid calcium-magnesium supplement and they love that too.)
I keep thinking that I need to make a video of my little boys doing their happy dance as they wait for me to fill up their teaspoons with their vitamins, and watch them lick them clean.Â
 They are so cute!
We started out with the orange Super Kids. Next time we’ll give the berry flavor a try. My kids love the taste, just taking it straight, but you could definitely mix this into juice, yogurt, or applesauce if you wanted to.
In the past I have purchased vitamins for my children, but it always seemed like the cheap ones were complete junk— just full of chemicals, sugar, aspartame, and other garbage. And the “good” ones usually weren’t that much better, but if they were, they cost a fortune! I have six children, so we go through some vitamins here, if we’re using them. I had to find something better.
Super Kids meets my criteria for many reasons. The ingredients are excellent. Not only does it have the vitamins and minerals that I want in a vitamin, but it has a lot of excellent “bonus” ingredients like Aloe Vera Juice, Colloidal Minerals, Kelp, and more. The sweetener is Xylitol, which is actually good for their teeth! No sugar or fructose or any other garbage. Yay!
I also like Super Kids because the liquid is easily absorbed into the body, so we are getting the best bang for our buck that way.
One bottle has 93 servings in it, so that’s going to go a pretty long way even for my family. With the price being just $18 per bottle, it’s affordable for us too.
I just love it when I find stuff that’s a fit like this!
Finally…Some Supplements that actually HELPED!
Like a lot of you, I’ve tried many different vitamins and supplements. In the last year (or two, or three….or who knows how long?!) I have felt very, very tired and run-down, and always like I was just one step away from getting sick. During this time I have done things like eating a mostly raw-foods diet, or exercising 4-5 days a week, or trying some new vitamin that someone told me made them feel great. Well, for me, none of those things helped. I gained a pound a week (for 7 weeks straight!) while I ate a 100% raw foods diet (!!!!!), only felt more tired and more hungry when I was working out, and the vitamins didn’t give me any energy but did succeed in making me constipated! (Thank You Iron!!) ugh.
As most of you know, I have six children, plus homeschool, plus run my businesses, plus have a husband. I Need Energy!! I had been watching projects pile up, things going undone, and just felt too stinkin’ tired all the time to get a handle on any of it.
Recently I was doing some reading and two new supplements caught my eye. Because of my desperation to feel better, I got both (they were very reasonably priced) and started taking them. The first time I took them was at night, and by the next morning I was literally BURSTING with energy. That day I worked around my house conquering all sorts of projects and chores for at least 12 HOURS!!! It was amazing! Since then I have continued to have a lot of energy, except on the days when I realize I have forgotten to take the stuff. It has been since December 23 and I am still GOING STRONG and feeling SO thankful that I found these supplements.
As usual, I don’t clutter up my store here with just any old thing you can buy. (There are plenty of places like that on the web) Supermom’s Health and Wellness exists to offer you products that I personally feel are very worthwhile. So, of course, I had to bring these products to you.
The first product is called Bee Strong, and it is a bee propolis supplement. This is well-known for giving lots of energy, and it certainly works for me. Of course, if you have a bee allergy, this isn’t going to be something for you to take.
The second product is called Berry Well and it is an elderberry syrup with good stuff like raw honey, raw apple cider vinegar, among other ingredients.  Berry Well is intended to be taken if you are sick, or feeling like you’re getting sick. I decided to take it since I could tell that my immune system just wasn’t very good. Although I do experience good amounts of energy when I take the Bee Strong, I feel really, really, REALLY great on the days when I take Berry Well. I really enjoy it mixed into my healthy lemonade, and that has proven to be a great way to give it to my children. (You could even make it into a popsicle for sick little ones that need a health boost!) The taste of the syrup is fine and not objectionable, but when I put it in the lemonade it just makes a yummy berry lemonade that is very refreshing. (It mixes up great in juice as well)
I highly, HIGHLY recommend these new products to you. If it helps you feel half as good as I’ve been feeling, you will be THRILLED that you gave it a try!
