Hey folks,
I am considering adding two cool new products to the store, but wanted to get some feedback from you to see if these would even fill a need.

The first item is glass baby bottles with a cool silicone sleeve. Many parents are becoming increasingly concerned about the chemicals in plastic baby bottles, particularly when warming them or having warm milk in them. Glass bottles are great for the safety, but can be too hot to hold, slippery, and of course there is the concern about breakage.
These cool silicone sleeves go over the bottle, so they protect little hands (or yours!) from the heat of warm milk and slippage, and still allow you to see the measurement markers.
These come in both 4 and 8 ounce bottles, and would be priced at $10 and $12 respectively.
The other item I am considering adding to the store is this:

These are knee pads for your little crawlers! They can slide right over bare legs or pants, and provide a silicone cushion at the knees for your little tyke as they explore their world. I think these are really cute and smart, and wish there had been something like this back when I had crawling babies!
These would be priced at $17.95 for a pair.
What do you think? Any interest?

Thanks Annette!
We have hard floors, so I always thought it would be kind of nice for babies to have some protection on their knees when crawling.
(I know I wouldn’t want to crawl around on my knees all day without some padding—and my body fat isn’t enough LOL)
I am definitely 100% pro-breastfeeding. I have six breastfed kids myself.
However, I know that even breastfeeding moms sometimes need to use bottles, and are likely to be concerned about the chemicals in plastic bottles. Lots of people give breast milk by bottle if they have to be away from their baby for more than a couple hours. In my case, I had lost my milk supply with my fourth baby because I became pregnant with my 5th. So, for awhile he drank breastmilk that had been frozen, and later goat milk, and then once his baby brother was born, I pumped for him and he got mom’s milk in a bottle again.
I loved the glass bottles I had at the time, but they were just little ones, so eventually he outgrew them.
Hello,
I’m interested in the glass bottles. I’ve had my eyes on them for a bit now and really like the ones you pictured. I breastfeed but I also pump on the side for emergencies or so my husband and I can do date nights once-in-awhile. I should mention though that I’m not a big spender, and it just depends on what is in the budget. The knee pads are cute and we also have wood floors so they would be nice. Not sure if I’d spend the money though . . . this next babe will probably be crawling during the winter months therefore will have some padding. Thanks!

Well, to be honest, the second seems sort of silly. I’ve seen these before and wondered who in their right mind would buy them (and I’m going through my fourth crawling baby right now!)
As for the first, I understand that there’s a market for them. I would hope if you would sell baby bottles of any sort you would make it really, really clear that mother’s milk is best.
Anyway, that’s my two cents!
